Today's healing card is Transform. With the card's message being, "I change my life by transforming myself." The picture shows a beautiful butterfly rising above the ground from her previous life as a caterpillar; a symbol well known as the ultimate caricature of transformation. And so it is with us that if we are unhappy with our lives, our relationships, or our selves then it is only ever up to us to change it. Transformation is hard and it can be uncomfortable and sometimes lonely when we need to leave behind those who cannot or will not accept our evolution. To fear transformation means to fear the ever dynamic chaos and beauty that is life. To put ones whole might into keeping the status quo is self limiting and often born out of a place of fear. But, sooner or later, our spirits pull us along our own radical evolution, sometimes willingly and sometimes fighting, but change does come and we grow because of it. And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.--Anais Nin What are you transforming in your life? Or, what do you wish to transform?

Today's attribute pulled from the Healing Deck is Passion! Have you ever been accused of being too passionate (or dramatic... the word that those who are uncomfortable with your energy will often use)? Are you finding that your daily routine is a comfortable mellow, without any of the intensity you used to have? I encourage you, for today, to engage in passionate mindfulness. Engage in something that gets you going; in the bedroom, in a political argument, dancing in the livingroom, singing at the top of your lungs...sexting, maybe? Breathe, feel yourself full of fire; and extend that brightness into the world like a falling star. Passion is the rocket fuel that burns clean and is so powerful it can manifest 'impossible' things into existence. What will you use your passion to manifest, what will you make possible? |
